Overview
AI Text Summarizer (Chrome extension and aisum.jacksu.tw) helps you summarize and work with text, pages, files, and YouTube captions using AI providers you choose, including on-device Chrome Built-in AI. We handle data only for this purpose and related support and security.

What we handle
Even data that stays on your device must be disclosed under Chrome Web Store rules. We may handle:
- Content you choose to process (text, page content, chats, files, YouTube captions) — only when you start an action such as summarize, chat, search, or file processing.
- Settings and API keys stored in
chrome.storage.syncon your device. We do not receive your API keys. Chrome Sync may sync them with your Google account if enabled. - Short local browser session data.
- Support form messages and optional screenshots (plus IP and user agent to limit abuse).
We do not sell your data or collect browsing activity for ads or profiling.

How we use it
We use this data to run the product, send content you choose to your selected AI provider (or keep it on-device with Chrome Built-in AI), operate this website (Google Analytics), answer support, and meet security or legal needs. By default, extension summaries go from your browser to your provider and do not pass through our servers. We do not train our own models on extension summary content.

Sharing & Limited Use
We share data only when needed to provide the Service (for example OpenAI, Google, xAI, or DeepSeek when you choose them), when required by law, for security, or as part of a sale of the business with consent where required. Support may use Telegram. We do not share data for personalized ads, data brokers, or credit decisions.
- We follow the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including Limited Use.
- The use of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
- Data is used only for our single purpose and related operations. Humans do not read your summary content or API keys except with your consent for support, for security, to comply with law, or when data is aggregated and anonymized.

Security & your choices
- Cloud calls use HTTPS. Keys and settings stay in Chrome storage on your device.
- This site may use Google Analytics (cookies). Language and theme use
localStorage. - You can change or delete settings and API keys, clear site data, or uninstall the extension.
- Not for children under 13. We may update this page; the date above will change.
